During the summer event about 5 months ago, it was for example not rare for people to win more than 1k diamonds per world. Also there are special events during more major holidays etc which often reward diamonds or include a chance to win diamonds. Wishing well was already mentioned, you can earn 50 diamonds roughly every 3-4 months from 1 well. Also there is a bonus EMA province which awards 100, bonus LMA province that awards another 100, bonus InA province that awards 150 and bonus ME province that awards 200 diamonds. This number can also increase a lot in PE/ME if you build Chateau GB. It can add up to about 1-1.5k diamonds if you complete the whole game and do your quests. In later ones there seem to be more often them, about 150-200 per age is not unrealistic estimate. In earlier ages I think u can get perhaps about 100 or so diamonds per age from quests. ![]() Allowing people to buy as much land as they want would probably serve to chase away starting players who either don't have the resources or don't want to pay for that many expansions. You can get some diamonds occasionally from quests. However I would venture my opinion that they limit the expansions available to keep the game somewhat balances between people willing to pay and for those who play for free. The game puts a limitation on the number of expansions you can buy (why only Inno knows for sure). You may acquire 2 diamonds expansions per era/age. The cost of victory expansions climbs dramatically but you can get as many as you can afford to acquire with the medals that you have.Ĥ) diamond expansions. When you have sufficient medals you can obtain another expansion. When you have researched certain techs you are allowed to get another expansion.ģ) Victory expansions. When you've conquered or negotiated certain provinces then an expansion will become available.Ģ) tech tree. There are several ways to get expansions:ġ) continental map.
